Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit in Tucson, AZ. You will work with cross-functional teams to verify and validate design, development, and integration of digital products, including embedded code, simulations, and firmware. This onsite role requires a U.S.

citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. A STEM Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in software development or quality assurance are required, with experience in Agile

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 2 years applying technical concepts in software development.
Experience conducting quality assessments of software products and artifacts.
Proficiency with Agile or DevOps software development practices.
Experience with software testing, integration and monitoring.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of digital products design and development.
Ensure digital products are compliant to product/process requirements.
Review and approve inputs/outputs to Software, Systems, and Test work products.
Support verification and validation of embedded code, simulations, and firmware artifacts.
