Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer to ensure supplier quality and seamless flow-down of requirements across the supply chain. You will work with internal teams to inspect, analyze, and improve supplier performance, with a focus on defect containment and corrective action.

The role requires interpreting technical drawings, performing data-driven analyses, and collaborating on continuous improvement initiatives. Travel up to 25% domestically is possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required or beneficial.
• 2 years of relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or supplier performance.
• Experience interpreting schematic drawings and hardware inspection techniques.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools and MS Office suite.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Review requisitions and material flow-down requirements for completeness and correctness.
• Act as technical interface between Supplier Quality, SCM and suppliers on rejected materials.
• Perform defect data analysis with program managers to guide supplier improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement using Six Sigma/Lean approaches.
• Travel up to 25% domestically to support supplier assessments and audits.
