Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on ensuring supplier quality across engineering, manufacturing and the supply chain, applying quality notes and coordinating with sub-tier suppliers to meet requirements.

You will participate in design reviews, process changes and qualification tests, while driving continuous improvement and KPI development. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of quality/engineering experience.
• Experience with quality systems and supplier quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in resolution of technical issues with respect to product processes, systems and deliverables in engineering, supply chain and quality and at the supplier.
• Ensure flow down of product requirements internally and to sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and statements of work.
• Interpret quality requirements to ensure supply base understands and complies with them.
• Apply Q-Notes and decide on Q-Note application to procured production parts.
• Conduct on-site Source Surveillance and Corrective Action reviews.
• Support design reviews, process change reviews, qualification test reviews and equipment verification.
