Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer (PSQE) to serve as the primary quality interface between Raytheon programs and the supplier base. You will manage supplier assessments, first article verification, source inspection, and continuous improvement activities on site.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years' relevant quality engineering experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards.
• Ability to read schematics and perform hardware inspection techniques.
• Experience with SPC, APQP, and continuous improvement in supplier settings.
• Experience presenting briefs to leadership and suppliers.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to sub-tier suppliers.
• Interpret and explain requirements to ensure supplier compliance.
• Drive continuous product and process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Apply APQP processes related to supplier performance.
• Perform defect data analysis and develop supplier improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution and improvement activities.
• Identify supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Support containment activities for discrepant material.
• Drive supplier corrective action processes and monitor closures.
• Represent quality in review boards for supplier changes.
• Travel up to 25% for supplier assessments and audits.
