Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer (PSQE) to act as the primary quality interface between programs and supplier assurance teams. The role includes on-site supplier assessments, First Article inspections, source inspections, and continuous improvement activities with a focus on supplier performance and Raytheon goals.

Remote work is allowed with 50% travel to the Midwest region for supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science/Technology/Engineering or Math with 2 years of relevant quality experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145 or MDA provisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal and sub-tier suppliers.
• Explain requirements to ensure understanding and compliance by the supply base.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Apply APQP processes to supplier performance improvements.
• Perform defect data analysis and develop supplier improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution and improvement activities.
• Identify supplier risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Support containment activities for discrepant material.
