Job summary

YAI is seeking a proactive program leader to oversee day-to-day operations and therapeutic programming within an interdisciplinary team. You will ensure proper supervision, coordinate medical care, and maintain compliant, safe operations across all shifts.

The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, hiring, and training while maintaining accurate documentation and strong communication with families and external partners.

Qualifications

• Must meet federal requirements for a QIDP under 42 CFR 483.430.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 1 year of appointment.
• Maintain Crisis Management Training and Ukeru Full Certification within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 5 points.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong documentation skills.
• Solid supervisory and leadership abilities to coach staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
• Proficiency with computers; able to learn Workday and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day program operations, including therapeutic programming and groups by the IDT.
• Ensures appropriate supervision to protect health and safety in line with regs.
• Provides leadership, develops a team delivering quality care and morale.
• Coordinates all IDT members to implement person-centered plans and medical coordination.
• Maintains safe, compliant work environment and documents incidents and occurrences.
• Directly supervises direct care staff; supports DSP/RBT supervision and trainings.
• Manages staff schedules, coverage, and timekeeping via electronic systems (Workday).
• Leads staff performance management, evaluations, and development plans.
• Participates in hiring, trainings, and onboarding; ensures credentialing is current.
• Facilitates weekly leadership meetings; addresses operational and safety concerns.
• Oversees facility maintenance, supplies, and budgetary adherence.
• Ensures accurate paperwork and recordkeeping for treatment and compliance.
• Represents the program in meetings with families, providers, and communities.
• Operates program transportation when needed and ensures regulatory compliance.
