Job summary

YAI is seeking a Program Administrator to oversee services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in California. You will supervise interdisciplinary teams, develop person-centered plans, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with families and external supports.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with supervisory experience, knowledge of California regulations, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain state

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in serving individuals with I/DD or related field.
• Or high school diploma with 3 years of direct support experience and 1 year of supervisory experience in a residential setting, with behavioral health experience.
• Registered Behavior Technician or Licensed Psychiatric Technician certification.
• State of California license as Group Home Administrator or Adult Residential Facility Administrator within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversees milieu and therapeutic programming of the assigned program with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides appropriate supervision level to protect health, safety and habilitation of the people we support.
• Leads and develops a treatment team to deliver quality care and outcomes.
• Coordinates IDT members to implement person-centered treatment plans and medical care coordination.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements; liaises with families and circles of support.
• Organizes staff training, supervision, and evaluations; recruits and hires qualified staff.
