Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability in Clifton, NJ seeks a Program Supervisor to ensure health and safety for the people we support while providing effective supervision across residences, day programs, and community settings.

The role includes leading interdisciplinary meetings, hiring and staff development, maintaining documentation, and overseeing program operations within budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support in accordance with agency philosophy and department practices.
• Provide appropriate supervisory coverage in residences, day programs, or community settings to ensure health and safety.
• Lead and facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings.
• Oversee program operations, budgeting, and expenditures within guidelines.
• Participate in hiring, interviews, and staff development activities.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork for individuals, treatment, data, and incidents.
• Foster collaboration and maintain professional communication with families and teams.
