Job summary

YAI Centereach IRA location seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee health, safety, and habilitation for people we support. The role ensures proper supervision in residences, day programs, or communities and maintains program coverage and staff coordination.

The candidate will lead interdisciplinary teams and participate in hiring, with a focus on professional development and compliance with agency standards. BA/BS preferred and supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support.
• Provide program/floor coverage when necessary.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings for effective communication.
• Participate in hiring and staff development processes.
• Maintain documentation across medical, treatment, and progress records.
