Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead 10–25 staff and provide program oversight across residential, day program, and community settings in New York. The role emphasizes QA, regulatory compliance, and partnership with families.

You will supervise staff, facilitate interdisciplinary meetings, and ensure health and safety standards while maintaining budgetary controls and open communication across teams. A BA/BS and supervisory experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred and supervisory experience required.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.
• Strong communication and writing abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation aligned with agency philosophy.
• Provide appropriate supervision in residence, day program, or community.
• Lead and participate in interdisciplinary and staff meetings.
• Foster relationships with families and ensure inclusive team processes.
• Maintain program oversight, QA, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee hiring, staff development, and performance evaluations.
