Job summary

Youth and family-centered services are led by the Young Adult Institute, Inc. in New York, seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee clinical programming and staff supervision. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to person-centered planning.

The position entails managing 10–25 staff, ensuring health and safety, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with families and cross-functional teams for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff training, mentoring, and supervision of 10–25 reports.
• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support consistent with agency philosophy and department practices.
• Oversee clinical programming and regulatory compliance.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Assist in hiring and developing staff; foster strong relationships with families.
• Maintain oversight of program operations, documentation, and budgets.
