Job summary

YAI is seeking a Program Supervisor in Brooklyn to lead 10-25 staff and oversee clinical programming and regulatory compliance. You will mentor staff, maintain program quality, and advocate for the people we support while working closely with families.

The role emphasizes supervising team meetings, ensuring health and safety, and maintaining thorough documentation across programs. A BA/BS and prior supervisory experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred for consideration.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Direct Support Professional experience is preferred.
• Experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support per agency practices.
• Provide appropriate supervision in residence, day program, or community settings.
• Offer program and floor coverage as needed.
• Lead and facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings.
• Foster family involvement as part of the team process.
• Supervise staff and support professional development through supervision, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee budgetary adherence and program expenditures.
• Maintain compliance and accurate documentation for individuals served.
