Job summary

YAI is seeking a Program Supervisor in Brooklyn, NY to supervise 10–25 direct and indirect reports, provide staff training and mentoring, oversee clinical programming, and ensure NYS regulations are met.

You will advocate for the people we support, collaborate with families, manage program operations within budget, and help maintain a safe, respectful work environment. Compensation is $66,300 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience with direct support or ID/DD preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of people we support.
• Ensure appropriate supervision per program to protect health and safety.
• Provide program/floor coverage when needed.
• Promote and maintain program excellence.
• Develop professional relationships with families.
• Lead interdisciplinary and staff meetings; participate in planning for the people we support.
• Foster interagency collaboration and organizational culture.
• Maintain a harassment-free work environment.
• Participate in hiring and staff development.
• Maintain relationships with staff and build morale.
• Supervise staff to meet needs and standards.
• Oversee compliance of systems; maintain records and budgets.
• Ensure paperwork and records (medical, treatment, progress, data, incident).
• Report incidents and assist investigations.
