Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability in Yorktown Heights, NY is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead health, safety and habilitation for the people we support, ensuring quality care aligned with agency philosophy. You will supervise staff, guide interdisciplinary team meetings, manage program operations within budget, and maintain comprehensive records and reporting in line with policy and regulatory standards.

BA/BS strongly preferred with prior supervisory experience; Direct Support Professional

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred.
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support.
• Provide appropriate, therapeutically documented supervision.
• Provide program/floor coverage when necessary.
• Promote and maintain program excellence.
• Develop professional relationships with families and include them as part of the team.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings for effective communication.
• Attend supervisor meetings and planning meetings for the people we support.
• Foster interagency collaboration and open communication.
