Job summary

YAI in Yonkers, NY seeks an Assistant Supervisor to lead one of our Hudson Valley programs. You will supervise 5-15 direct reports, provide staff training, and ensure program oversight with adherence to NYS regulations.

The role involves supervising clinical programming, advocating for people we support, and collaborating with families and professionals. Candidate should be energetic, compassionate, and able to handle challenging situations with patience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 5–15 direct reports and provide staff training.
• Ensure health, safety, and habilitation consistent with agency philosophy.
• Provide program/floor coverage and oversee clinical programming.
• Maintain NYS regulations and QA processes.
• Communicate with families and professionals.
• Foster staff development through supervision and evaluations.
• Participate in hiring and maintain staff morale.
