Job summary

The Salvation Army Haven Heights site in Redmond seeks an Assistant Director to oversee program operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with contracts, and coordinate partnerships with local agencies.

Responsibilities include training, incident response, and maintaining public health safety protocols, while working closely with the Director to achieve program goals and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or 2+ years of program management and/or case management supervision experience in lieu of formal education.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• 3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness in a shelter/residential program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Haven Heights site and supervise program staff.
• Ensure contract administration and compliance.
• Provide policy guidance to program staff and assist with onboarding and training.
• Coordinate referrals from local agencies for resident intakes and maintain community partnerships.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold public health safety protocols.
• Collaborate with maintenance to maintain facility safety and cleanliness.
• Generate reports and analyze metrics to inform program improvements.
