Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Redmond, WA seeks an Assistant Director to oversee Haven Heights program operations. In-person interviews in Redmond, WA are required. You will supervise staff, ensure program compliance, and coordinate training and partnerships while reporting to the Director of Haven Heights.

This exempt, full-time role emphasizes policy guidance, crisis management, and community collaboration to support residents and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or 2+ years of program management and/or case management supervision experience in lieu of formal education.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• 3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness in shelter/residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operations of Haven Heights facility and program, including supervising program staff.
• Provide policy and procedure guidance to program staff.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, and contractual commitments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners.
