Job summary

OpenRouter is hiring a Program Manager to turn our Provider Program into a scalable product. You’ll own the standard provider lifecycle from sourcing to renewal and design tiering, SLAs, and compliance cadence across partnerships.

You’ll run flagship programs like MPEAP and the verified/certified provider tracks, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Security to unblock providers and ship program improvements. Remote-first US.

Qualifications

• You’ve built and run programs or strategy at a large, complex organization.
• Highly organized systems thinker who turns recurring work into repeatable, automatable processes.
• Cross-functional operator across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Security.
• High agency with bias to ship and end-to-end ownership.
• Strong written communication.
• Bonus: familiarity with the AI ecosystem and onboarding/certifying providers.

Responsibilities

• Own the provider lifecycle from sourcing onboarding activation QBR renewal with clear stage gates, owners, and SLAs.
• Design provider tiering and define the buckets that classify providers and set expectations.
• Build scalable programmatic structures: templates, playbooks, self-serve onboarding, and automated provider comms.
• Run cross-program operations: re-paper providers, launch a new tier, roll out attestations.
• Operate flagship programs (MPEAP and verified/certified provider tracks) end-to-end.
• Own the compliance cadence with attestations and provider obligations.
• Set the operating cadence with reviews, reporting, and cross-functional alignment.
• Partner across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Security to unblock providers.
