Leonardo DRS in Frederick, MD is seeking a skilled finance and program analysis professional. This role tracks funding, forecasts remaining work, and supports AOP processes while ensuring proper cost collection and contract cost controls.

Responsibilities include cost analysis, EAC/ETC management, and negotiations with government and primes. A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in government manufacturing is required; MA/MS or certifications are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field and at least three years of progressive government manufacturing experience.
• MA, MS and/or professional certification is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, CAS & SOX.
• Understand financial analysis principles and have financial analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of IR&D/B&P/Direct Sell and allowable vs. unallowable costs.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, MS Project, CostPoint and Deltek).

Responsabilidades

• Tracks actuals and commitments against approved funding. Forecasts the remaining work. Flags overruns early.
• Builds and challenges EACs/ETCs. Explains labor, material and subcontract growth.
• Provide support of the Financial & Program Analysis management functions to the department.
• Understand the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and help prepare program data.
• Understand how job costs are collected and billed on all contract types.
• Negotiate goals and objectives with stakeholders; maintain effective relationships.
• Support negotiations with government, industry primes and foreign customers.
• Conduct analytical studies and interpret results for decisions.
• Support government compliance and audit activities.
• Understand contract types and cost structures; manage compliance.
• Understand CAS, IFRS and standard cost accounting concepts.
