Job summary

AEVEX is seeking a Sr. Program Finance Analyst to partner with program management, contracts, and operations to deliver budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control support across the program lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business and 4–6+ years of relevant experience, with TS/SCI DoD clearance and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Government contracting or manufacturing exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis, program control, or project accounting.
• Experience in government contracting or manufacturing preferred.
• Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance with U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program financial baselines including budgets, forecasts, and EACs.
• Monitor and analyze program costs, revenue, and profitability against budgets.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders with variance analysis.
• Support EAC development and ensure cost/schedule alignment.
• Track labor, materials, and overhead costs to identify trends and risks.
• Assist in proposals and pricing in line with policies and cost structures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and government standards.
• Coordinate with accounting, contracts, and operations for billing and revenue recognition.
• Support monthly/quarterly financial reviews and audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in reporting and controls.
• Mentor junior team members.
