Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Program Finance Analyst 2 to partner with internal and external customers, ensuring financial acumen, accuracy, and support to execute significant contracts in support of national defense.

Responsibilities include EVMS-based metrics, baseline development, EAC processes, program-level revenue planning, and timely invoicing. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 3–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• EVMS principles applied in daily operations.
• Knowledge of DoD program financial controls.
• Knowledge of FAR/CAS/DFARS regulations.
• Familiarity with contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M).
• Understanding of revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to present complex financial information to all management levels.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and accurate metrics on schedule and cost performance using Earned Value.
• Supports baseline development and creation of charge numbers and WBS.
• Updates/changes for programs with/without EV requirements in ERP or Cobra.
• Analyzes variances to budget and aids in recovery planning.
• Assesses risks and opportunities to baseline cost, schedule, and EAC.
• Maintains the Program-Activity Structure (Charge Numbers).
• Completes EAC processes and time-phased EAC updates; supports PMRs and QBRs.
• Develops program-level time-phased revenue plans for forecast, budget, and 5-year planning.
• Provides financial inputs and variance narratives for PMRs and QBRs.
• Ensures timely invoicing and collection of receivables.
• Reviews and communicates status of program financials and funding.
