Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This position exists to assist the Doctor ofPharmacy admissions process; provide administrative support to the Office ofStudent Affairs, and the Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Social andAdministrative Sciences; and coordinate logistics and communications for Schoolof Pharmacy events. Responsibilities include supporting admissions operations, maintainingapplicant and student records, recruitment activities, student supportinitiatives, departmental operations, faculty recruitment and onboardingsupport, meeting and event coordination, and communications for students,alumni, and community stakeholders. Through these functions, the positionsupports enrollment and student success objectives, facilitates efficientdepartmental and administrative operations, and contributes to the successfulplanning and execution of School of Pharmacy activities and events.
Primary position responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Office ofStudent Affairs, including coordinating student orientation, supportingpharmacy student organizations, processing student travel reimbursements,administering student assistance funds and supporting scholarshipcommunications, and preparing student-facing communications.
- Support the Doctor of Pharmacy admissionsprocess by managing prospective student and applicant records, coordinatinginterviews, communicating with applicants, verifying admissions requirements,supporting recruitment events, assisting in data collection and reporting, and coordinatingthe incoming student peer mentor program.
- Provide administrative support to the Chair ofthe Department of Pharmaceutical, Social and Administrative Sciences, includingmanaging schedules and communications, coordinating departmental meetings andevents, supporting faculty recruitment and onboarding, maintaining organizeddepartment personnel records and reports, assisting with reports anddocumentation, and facilitating departmental operations.
- Coordinate logistics and communications for Schoolof Pharmacy program events through collaborating with multiple offices,including student, alumni, and community-facing activities, to ensuresuccessful planning, communication, and execution.

- Technical, Computer, and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic databases and software. Prior experience with Salesforce would be considered a plus.
- Customer Service / Interpersonal Engagement(prospective students, families, alumni, donors) experience.
- Event and Program Coordination experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond to high-pressure situations. Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Required Education
Associate's degree in business, higher education, communications, or related field is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Required Experience
Minimum two years of relevant administrative experience in higher education, admissions, student affairs, or academic program support is required.
