Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking Production Workers for Cummins in Fletcher, NC. This position offers a new and increased pay range of $19.00-$25.00 per hour, with a rotating 12 days on/2 days off schedule and a third shift from 11:15pm to 7:15am.

Temp-to-hire potential and weekly pay are highlighted benefits at this site. You will perform metal forming, robotic welding, and cutting operations for drive axle components, using overhead hoists and lifting devices to move parts through welding fixtures

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of related experience
• Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to work overtime and weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform metal forming, robotic welding, and cutting operations for drive axle components
• Use overhead hoists and lifting devices to move parts and assemblies into and out of welding fixtures
• Remove completed parts and transport them to the next stage of the manufacturing process
• Perform visual inspections of completed assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues to supervision

Pay & Shift Information:

• New & increased pay range of $19.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

• 3 rd shift: 11:15pm to 7:15am

• Rotating schedule working 12 days on/2 days off

What's a typical day as a Production Worker? You'll be:

• Performing metal forming, robotic welding, and cutting operations for drive axle components

• Using overhead hoists and lifting devices to move parts and assemblies into and out of welding fixtures

• Removing completed parts and transporting them to the next stage of the manufacturing process

• Performing visual inspections of completed assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications

• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues to supervision

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 1 year of related experience

• Have good manual dexterity and are capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the entire shift

• Are able to work frequent overtime and weekends
