Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator (Dry End) in Oxford, NC to drive the final stages of the production line and operate specialized machinery. The role includes staging finished goods with mobile equipment and upholding strict quality standards.

You will work a 12-hour shift pattern (Mon–Fri, 7 am–7 pm) and collaborate with the Winder Operator for coverage. Training and safety responsibilities are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate or be certified on mobile equipment (Forklift, Bobcat, etc.).
• Computer literacy and strong communication skills required.
• Excellent attendance and multitasking abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate end-of-process machinery and mobile equipment (Forklift, Floor Scrubber, Bobcat).
• Inspect finished goods to ensure strict quality standards.
• Cross-train with the Winder Operator to provide coverage.
• Perform safety observations (SMAT) and report shift updates.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Location: Oxford, NC 27565

Work Schedule: Mon to Fri / 7 am - 7 pm (12h shift / 2-2-3 rotational pattern)

Pay rate: 26.26$ per hour

Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (temp to hire)

Overview: In this role, you’ll drive the final stages of our production line—operating specialized machinery, staging finished goods with mobile equipment, and ensuring top-notch product quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Industrial Manufacturing
• Ability to operate or get certified on mobile equipment (Forklift, Bobcat, etc.)
