Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, a Takeda company, is seeking a Center Manager-level professional to oversee production-area staff at our Corpus Christi center. You will report to the Center Manager and lead employees to meet quality standards and donor-care objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, reviewing QC records, handling new-hire orientation, and addressing donor and employee concerns while promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Frequent bending/reaching; ability to walk/stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens requiring prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Monitor center training needs to ensure cross-training and annual re-certification training.
• Review Quality Control Records.
• Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process.
• Manage the production area and motivate staff to meet performance goals while complying with quality standards.
• Consult with management on escalated donor/employee concerns.
• Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service issues and identify improvement opportunities.
