Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking a Test Engineer for the Circuit Card Manufacturing group. This onsite, 2nd shift role includes a shift premium and support for RF, IF, microwave, analog and digital hardware used in missile programs.

You will work with Operations, Design and Test Development to interpret requirements, document procedures, and drive improvements for higher first-pass yields. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• 1+ year of testing experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support test and troubleshooting of RF, IF, Microwave, Analog and Digital hardware for missile programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product Design, Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Interpret test requirements, develop and maintain test procedures.
• Analyze data to drive root-cause analysis.
• Generate Change Requests on production test issues.
• Develop and execute improvement projects to increase first pass yield.
• Engage with Design and Test Development teams to solve production issues.
• Ensure hardware requirements are met and processes followed.
• Assist manufacturing operators in testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Support production tests on multiple functional test platforms.
• Travel as required.
