Job summary

Vylor, located in Woodhull, Illinois, seeks a Production Technician to support corn and soybean production operations. You will monitor and operate highly automated equipment, assist with receiving, conditioning, and packaging, and participate in harvest-related tasks across seasonal cycles.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with the option to obtain a GED within a year, plus a willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; willingness to obtain GED within 12 months of hire.
• Two-year technical degree preferred; related manufacturing or agriculture background is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Model Safety as the primary focus and serve as a Safety Steward for the program.
• Operate and monitor highly automated plant, field, and warehouse equipment.
• Assist with receiving, conditioning, packaging, harvest, product return, and precleaning.
• Participate in harvest activities including drying, shelling, unloading, and sorting.
• Perform forklift operation and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Support field activities such as scouting and logistics management.
