Job summary

Vylor is hiring a Production Technician at its Fremont, Iowa location to join a dynamic on-site team focused on harvest, conditioning, packaging, and warehouse operations. Candidates should be prepared to work with automated equipment and learn company systems.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED (GED accepted with plan to obtain within 12 months), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong computer skills, and a valid US driver’s license. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not offered.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED or obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and work in varying conditions.
• Experience with lean manufacturing concepts (5S, continuous improvement) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in harvest activities including preparation, drying, shelling, husk oversight, product unloading.
• Perform general plant, field, and warehouse operations across seasons.
• Monitor automated equipment for harvesting, conditioning, treating, packing.
• Handle product returns, sorting, sizing, packaging, and palletizing.
• Operate warehouse tasks including forklift use and sample collection.
