Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Fremont, Iowa, is hiring a Production Technician to support harvest, packaging, and warehouse activities at our on-site facility. You will operate highly automated equipment, perform conditioning tasks, and help ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with computers, and be willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends. Safety, teamwork, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or willingness to obtain GED within 12 months.
• Ability to climb and work in elevated areas and to stand/sit for extended periods.
• Comfortable with technology; proficient with Microsoft Office and prepared to learn other company apps.
• Strong work ethic, multitasking能力, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid US Driver's License and ability to work rotating shifts with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in harvest activities including preparation, drying, shelling, husk oversight, product unloading, and related processes.
• Perform general plant, field and warehouse tasks that vary by season.
• Monitor highly automated equipment for harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing.
• Handle product return and sorting activities.
• Assist in conditioning tasks such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, and palletizing.
• Utilize automation and computerized systems to complete tasks (computers/iPads).
• Carry out warehouse duties including forklift operation, sample collection, pooling, and related tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
