Job summary

Vylor in Fremont, Iowa is seeking a Production Technician to support harvest, drying, shelling, and warehouse operations on site. You will monitor highly automated equipment, assist in conditioning, packaging, and palletizing, and use automation and computerized systems to perform tasks.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to obtain), strong computer aptitude, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends during

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with willingness to obtain GED within 12 months.
• Able to operate ladders and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Valid US driver’s license and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in harvest, drying, shelling, husk oversight, and packing activities.
• Monitor highly automated equipment and perform conditioning tasks.
• Perform warehouse duties including forklift operation and sample collection.
• Operate with safety protocols and cooperate in rotating shifts.
