Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Ohio to oversee safe, quality manufacturing across shifts. You will coach teams, enforce safety rules, and drive productivity while controlling costs and throughput.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (MS/MBA desirable) with 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing. Flexibility for off-shifts and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

Supervise production operations and manage multiple shifts.
Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Willing to work off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience in manufacturing management.

Responsibilities

Safely manufacture quality products meeting customer specs and delivery commitments.
Enforce 6S principles and maintain housekeeping in the department.
Ensure safety requirements including Cardinal Rules of Safety are followed.
Keep SOPs and engineering procedures current and followed.
Schedule employees to meet production needs and vacations per plant policies.
Coach and supervise staff to meet daily metrics and goals.
Manage process control, work in progress, and quality instructions.
Monitor costs, throughput, and operational metrics daily/weekly.
Communicate production needs and plant-wide information daily.
Assist with design/installation of new manufacturing equipment.
