Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safe manufacturing and ensure quality and delivery commitments across multiple shifts.

You will enforce 6S, coach a diverse team, hire/train, and manage cost, productivity, and process compliance while maintaining safety and plant standards. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, with flexibility for off-hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering field; MS or MBA degree desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial supervisory or leadership experience.
• Prefer 3+ years of experience in operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive training in manufacturing processes, supervision, and operations management.

Responsibilities

• Safely manufacture a quality product while meeting customer specifications and delivery commitments.
• Practice and follow 6S principles daily and maintain housekeeping excellence in the department.
• Ensure safety requirements including Cardinal Rules of Safety are followed by every employee.
• Ensure SOPs and engineering procedures are current and followed at all times.
• Schedule employees to meet production needs and vacations per plant policies.
• Provide supervision and coaching to department employees to meet or exceed daily metrics.
