Job summary

Our client, a leading financial services organization, seeks a Production Support professional to join the Operations Department in New Jersey. The role supports FRR and CRR data sourcing/adoption initiatives in a dynamic environment, emphasizing resilience and proactive communication.

The position involves leading production support across Informatica, SQL Server, Oracle, and Unix platforms, monitoring with Dynatrace and Splunk, and managing batch workflows with Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow.

Qualifications

4 to 10 years of production support experience in financial services, preferably with regulatory reporting environments.
Strong Unix/Linux and Windows operating system expertise.
Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
Experience with shell scripting, Python and Perl.
Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day production support activities across platforms including Informatica, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Unix-based systems.
Monitor health, availability and performance of production apps using Dynatrace and Splunk.
Manage batch scheduling and orchestration with Autosys, Quartz or Airflow.
Own incidents end-to-end: triage, root-cause analysis, resolution, stakeholder communication and recurrence prevention.
Support core production services: incident & problem management, change & configuration management, and capacity & availability management.
