Job summary

Arhaus is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to manage daily evaluation and loading of incoming orders to support on-time delivery. The role focuses on capacity-aware scheduling, material availability checks, and communicating plans to purchasing and production teams.

Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis are required. This on-site role in Conover, NC, reports to the Scheduling Manager and involves a typical Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; pivot tables, reporting, and data analysis.
• Understanding of capacity planning and production constraints.
• Familiarity with planning policies and procedures.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of general business principles.

Responsibilities

• Slot incoming orders within established capacity constraints for production plans.
• Determine material availability for daily schedules and adjust schedules for efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate daily production plans to purchasing and manufacturing supervisors.
• Communicate daily production plans and update ship dates via EDI to Special Order & Stock Order Teams.
• Prepare production tickets and job jackets for manufacturing.
• Support the implementation of new processes and process improvements.
• Provide inputs to or generate ad-hoc reports and participate in cross-functional projects.
• Monitor and measure schedule adherence to maximize customer service and on-time performance.
• Identify root causes of scheduling issues and recommend solutions; elevate as needed.
• Prioritize assignments independently to meet timelines and update managers.
