Arhaus is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to manage daily evaluation and loading of orders to achieve on-time delivery. You will slot orders, coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing, and communicate daily production plans. The role requires strong Excel skills, capacity planning understanding, and collaboration across teams.

Weekend and overtime availability is expected. This position reports to the Scheduling Manager and works in a standard office setting.

Qualifications

• Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; filtering and sorting, pivot tables, Power Query.
• Understanding of capacity planning and production smoothing.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling policies and procedures.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills – speaking, presenting, writing and focused listening.
• Must possess own reliable transportation and be able to work weekends and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Slot incoming orders within capacity constraints for production plans.
• Determine material availability and adjust schedules for manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and communicate daily production plans to purchasing and manufacturing teams.
• Update ship dates via EDI to Special Order & Stock Order Teams.
• Prepare production tickets and job jackets for manufacturing.
• Support implementation of new processes and improvements.
• Monitor schedule adherence to maximize on-time performance.
• Analyze root causes of scheduling issues and propose solutions.
