Job summary

bioMérieux in Durham, NC seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician III to ensure optimal performance of complex manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve electro-mechanical systems with autonomy, mentoring less-experienced technicians and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, CMMS record-keeping, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while adhering to FDA, GMP, and ISO standards. 24/7 2-2-3 shift availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electro-mechanical maintenance with complex troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and prints.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls.
• GMP/cGMP environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Mentor entry-level technicians and guide maintenance teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
