Job summary

INX International is seeking a Production Supervisor at one of its facilities. The supervisor reports to the Production Manager and directly oversees a production department, coordinating with other supervisors to meet the master production schedule.

You will lead hourly staff, communicate procedures, interpret reports, and drive daily workflow while supporting OEE, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives. A strong background in manufacturing operations is required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experience.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills to write reports and business correspondence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics through others.
• Knowledge of production principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM.

Responsibilities

• Directing, coordinating and planning activities of a specific production department/shift under master production schedule and hourly workforce.
• Serving as lead person for a group of hourly employees.
• Communicating procedures to all subordinates and ensuring understanding.
• Interpreting reports, cycle times, and job orders to workers and assigning duties.
• Manage daily workflow and related responsibilities.
• Update ODEN during the shift.
• Review and analyze data to support decisions.
• Support OEE and uptime KPIs.
• Foster and uphold corporate programs and directives.
• Promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor and support customer demands.
• Encourage growth and development of new hires.
