Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in North Carolina is seeking a Production Team Lead to manage a production department, align with the master schedule, and drive daily output.

You will supervise up to 15 hourly employees and coordinate with the Production Supervisor and Manager to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals. You will apply strong manufacturing knowledge, lean concepts, and problem-solving skills to optimize processes, interpret reports, and coach a team toward measurable performance

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experience.
• Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Excellent math, verbal and written communication; able to write reports and procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office and other computer skills.
• Experience leading, coaching and delivering performance metrics.
• Knowledge of OEE, Lean, or TPM.

Responsibilities

• Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department under master production schedule and hourly workforce.
• Serve as lead for up to 15 hourly employees.
• Communicate procedures to subordinates and ensure understanding and implementation.
• Interpret reports, cycle times and job orders to workers and assign duties.
• Perform additional duties as directed by Production Supervisor or Manager.
