Job Location	Wilkes-Barre, PA
Position Type	Full Time

Finishing Group Leader, 2nd shift

We are seeking a full-time Group Leader for our Finishing Department. The associate in this role must be able to operate finishing lines, including zinc plating and/or powder coating. The candidate selected must successfully complete screening requirements and a probationary period of 400 working hours. Please note this position is part of a bargaining unit based on seniority principles, so shifts are not guaranteed. Applicants should be available to work any shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Mechanical operation of the lines
• Electrical operation and setup of the lines
• Chemical analysis and evaluation
• Chemical and metal additions
• Minor line maintenance (excluding mechanical or electrical)
• Rack maintenance
• Troubleshooting of all of the above
• Coordination with maintenance and production personnel
• Record keeping according to ISO standards
• Production tracking and data entry
• Coordination of line operators' activities
• Scheduling load and unload based on production needs and line efficiency
• Proficiency in test equipment utilization
• Performing as a finishing operator as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience
• Strong organizational and technical skills
