Job Summary

Salary Range: $21.00 to $28.00 Per Hour

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working shift.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Group Leader offers primary support for the Production Supervisor. This position will assist with all daily operations of a functional department without direct supervision on the shift. Responsibilities include production troubleshooting and reprocessing, employee training, resource allocation, shift scheduling, and ensuring cGMP compliance.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in coordinating all aspects of department operations, including schedule changes, quality issues, and resource and break schedules.
  2. Review device history records and other production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  3. Ensure all employees follow safety, cGMP, and department policies; report non-compliance to supervisor.
  4. Communicate effectively with the Supervisor about personnel, equipment, schedule, safety issues, and short-term goals.
  5. Handle employee training, conflicts, and concerns; consult supervisor as needed.
  6. Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Facilities, and other departments to resolve operational issues and maximize output.
  7. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize defects.
  8. Assist in preparing work orders and change controls to maintain proper conditions.
  9. Train employees on procedures, equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  10. Implement training plans for new and current hires for skill development.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Electro-mechanical assembly and testing experience preferred.
  • Leadership, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and training skills; basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Sound judgment, values-driven, innovative, adaptable.
  • High performance and detail orientation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization and teamwork skills, with a customer focus.
