Job summary

Pratt Industries in Dallas is seeking a Production Excellence Manager to drive world-class performance on the production floor. You will lead teams to improve quality, throughput, and reliability while mentoring supervisors and building leadership capabilities.

You will own safety, efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives, translating division strategy into actionable plans, and ensuring adherence to GMP/SOPs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in manufacturing; exposure to extrusion, plastic bag converting, or paper converting is advantageous.
• Structured problem-solver with a track record of results and minimal supervision.
• Excellent communicator across all levels; strong written and oral skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead production performance to consistently meet quality, throughput, and on-time shipping targets.
• Drive capacity gains, waste/cost reduction, and asset utilization improvements.
• Implement and optimize systems that track KPIs and safety while improving productivity and quality.
• Mentor and develop plant staff, building leadership readiness and accountability.
• Foster a customer-centric culture and communicate goals and progress across teams.
• Ensure OSHA and plant safety protocol compliance and partner with Safety Team.
