Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader for the plant to drive Safety and Quality. You will lead the Quality Management System, coach teams, and partner with manufacturing, sales and design to meet customer quality requirements.

Responsibilities include implementing Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and OE, training staff, and guiding root-cause analysis to prevent defects while optimizing costs and service across plant operations.

Qualifications

• College degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in quality system management or manufacturing leadership preferred.
• Competent with MS Office and Statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Quality Management System at the plant.
• Train the organization and implement continuous improvement methodologies (6 Sigma, 5S, Lean, OE).
• Drives continuous improvement to improve costs, quality and service.
• Monitors vendor performance, investigates customer complaints and performs root-cause analysis.
• Promotes safety as a priority and ensures right-first-time product quality.
