Pratt Industries is seeking a Production Excellence Manager to drive operational performance on the manufacturing floor, aligning people, processes, and performance to raise quality, throughput, and reliability. You will mentor supervisors, implement countermeasures, and ensure GMP/SOP adherence while translating division strategy into concrete actions.

With 3–5+ years in manufacturing and strong leadership, you’ll guide production, safety, and cost initiatives across the plant, collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in business, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in manufacturing; exposure to extrusion, plastic bag converting, or paper converting is advantageous.
• Structured problem-solver with a track record of results and minimal supervision.
• Excellent communicator across all levels; strong written and oral skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and aptitude for learning new platforms.
• People leader who coaches, builds teams, and enforces accountability.
• Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and HR practices.
• Ability to interpret complex documents and statistics; capable of requesting/building computer-generated performance reports.
• Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead production performance to meet customer quality, flexibility, and on-time shipping.
• Drive capacity gains, waste and cost reduction, and asset utilization improvements.
• Develop and optimize systems that track KPIs and productivity.
• Recruit, train, and develop plant staff with leadership readiness.
• Publicly communicate goals, initiatives, and progress to stakeholders.
• Participate in expense management and cost-avoidance programs.
• Foster a customer-centric culture internally and externally.
• Translate department strategy into actionable tasks with owners and due dates.
