Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead plant floor operations with focus on safety, quality and productivity. The role requires hands-on leadership, mentoring, and cost-conscious decision making to meet customer expectations and on-time shipping.

You will manage a team, optimize processes, drive waste reduction, and implement continuous improvement programs while ensuring GMP compliance and safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in extrusion or converting processes is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3 to 30 manufacturing employees on-site.
• Plan and direct day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Increase production and asset capacity while reducing waste and costs.
• Ensure safety, GMP adherence and lead continuous improvement.
• Allocate resources and monitor performance metrics.
• Develop and coach plant staff; recruit and mentor.
