Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks a Production Control Specialist to manage material in construction and facility projects within RCAs/RBAs, ensuring traceability and conformity to QA standards. The role supports the Weapons Production Directorate and interacts with multiple systems for accurate inventory management.

Two levels exist: Specialist 1 requires 2+ years related experience; Specialist 2 requires 5+ years or an equivalent combination.

Formación

• Education/Experience for Production Control Specialist 1: minimum of 2 years related experience.
• Production Control Specialist 2: 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage material in accordance with QA and industry standards.
• Above average computer skills.
• Experience with Inventory Control and Material Tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and related suites.
• Excellent written and oral communication; customer service orientation.
• Able to collaborate within a team and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required building access.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize multiple inventory management systems to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
• Organize and store materials for efficient retrieval.
• Locate, pull, and stage materials for construction-related activities.
• Verify materials meet Management Levels for intended application.
• Adhere to institution-controlled storage procedures (P330-11, P330-12, P330-13).
• Maintain storage conditions and inventory record accuracy; enforce shelf-life requirements.
• Ensure proper handling of quality-affecting items; maintain safe and organized work areas.
