Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Senior/Principal Production Planning Control Specialist within the Explosive Component Operations Science and Technology department. The role focuses on developing material requirements and production build schedules to support internal and external customer delivery.

You will use MRP tools to ensure the availability and flow of materials, monitor status, and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, plus 5 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of relevant education/ experience
• Experience working in manufacturing environment with knowledge of industry standard Manufacturing Resources Planning (MRP) system and related business practices (i.e. Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a material requirement and/or production build schedules that support internal and external customer delivery
• Use MRP tools to ensure availability and flow of raw materials and/or jobs on the production floor
• Monitor, communicate, and report to management the status and issues associated with material availability and/or production build plan
• Analyze the status of raw materials and/or jobs; identify issues which may impact the production plan and define recovery plans
