Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions in Lexington, NC is seeking a Production Associate 2 to perform windows and doors assembly. You will operate hand tools, lift and pack products, and maintain safety under standard work.

The role requires ability to work 3pm–11pm, keep pace with demand, and support continuous improvement. You will ensure quality, minimize waste, and assist coworkers while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read basic word and number cues.
• Operate power tools and follow PPE requirements.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols at workstation.
• Understand measurements and tolerances for parts.
• Follow Standard Work and reference instructions routinely.
• Recognize product defects and maintain CTQ quality.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisor.
• Manage time and monitor cycle times during shifts.
• Perform basic math including fractions and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Follow defined clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work to an established rate based on customer demand and operations.
• Help define and improve standard work to boost quality.
• Identify problems and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Assist with training co-workers and share important information.
• Maintain safe, respectful work environment and cross-train across stations.
