Expect multidisciplinary tasks, cross-training, and adherence to defined production rates. The position emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and effective communication to support a reliable manufacturing flow and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals for precise assembly.
• Read basic word/number cues and recognize safety hazards.
• Operate power tools safely and use PPE appropriately.
• Follow standard work, maintain quality, and meet cycle times.
• Display dependable, punctual performance and teamwork.
• Strong maths ability for simple calculations and measurements.
• Cross-train across departments as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lift, pick and pack products using hand tools.
• Support employee engagement and follow clean-up schedules.
• Work safely and adhere to defined rates per demand.
• Identify issues, communicate problems, and assist training.
• Maintain inventory levels and accurate records.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance quality.
• Adapt to various roles across the plant as directed.
