Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 2 at Aperture Solutions in North Carolina. The role focuses on windows and doors assembly, safely producing quality products while minimizing waste and costs, with attention to on-time delivery and efficient material flow.

Responsibilities include operating hand tools, packing products, supporting engagement activities, and maintaining adherence to rate definitions and standard work.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and fractions/decimals.
• Must read basic words/numbers and recognize visuals.
• Operate power tools and select PPE appropriately.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work and work instructions.
• Know product defects at workstation.
• Quality focus per CTQ requirements.
• Communicate clearly, listen actively, ask questions.
• Manage time and monitor cycle times.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick, and pack products.
• Support and participate in employee engagement activities.
• Follow defined cleanup times and safety rules.
• Work to defined production rates based on demand.
• Help define and improve standard work for quality windows.
• Identify and communicate issues or defects.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed.
