Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 at our Cary, NC facility. You will perform windows & doors assembly, lift and package products, and help maintain a steady flow of material on the line.

You will operate hand tools, follow safety guidelines, work to defined rates, and participate in process improvements while supporting a collaborative team environment. A high school diploma is preferred and long shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read basic word/number cues.
• Operate power tools with proper PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support employee engagement and teamwork.
• Follow clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work to defined rate per customer demand.
• Contribute to improving standard work for quality.
• Identify issues and communicate them.
• Assist training of co-workers.
• Support a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed.
